Add Some Adventure To Your Diving

Whether its a time constraint or just comfort in the water, the PADI Adventure Diver course offers certified divers the chance to learn some additional skills and gain more confidence without committing to the complete PADI Advanced Open Water Diver class. Consisting of just 3 dives it can be completed in just one evening and one day of diving.

Certified PADI Open Water Diver (or other qualifying certification)

Includes your student materials, all instruction, 1 pool dive, 3 open water dives and certification.

You are responsible for your travel expenses, dive site or park admissions, tank fills and any required gear.

You will do these 3 training dives as part of the class: peak performance buoyancy, DSMB use and underwater navigation.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED

Personal Gear: Mask, snorkel, fins, boots, logbook, knife or diver tool, SMB w/ spool or reel.

Diving System: Tank, BCD with low pressure inflator, primary regulator and alternate air source, SPG, depth gauge or dive computer, compass, quick release weight system and weights, adequate exposure protection, one audible emergency surface signaling device, dive computer or RDP w/ timing device.

PATH TO OTHER COURSES

You have several optional classes you can incorporate into your PADI Adventure Diver weekend:

PADI Drysuit Diver  – If you choose this option then you will do one drysuit dive in place of the peak performance buoyancy control dive and one additional drysuit dive for a total of 6 dives. This option is $EDIT / diver.

PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy – With this option you will do one additional peak performance buoyancy control dive with your instructor for a total of 6 dives. This option is $EDIT / diver.

PADI DSMB (Delayed Surface Marker Buoy) Diver – With your instructor you will do one additional training dive practicing deployment and towing your DSMB for a total of 6 dives. his option is $EDIT / diver.

PADI Enriched Air Diver – With your instructor you will use Enriched Air on one of your PADI Adventure Diver training dives and then do one additional dive using enriched air for a total of 6 dives. The cost for this option is $EDIT (book) or $EDIT (eLearning) and includes one enriched air cylinder rental for the weekend. Your instructor will assist you in refilling your enriched air cylinder during the weekend. You are responsible for returning the cylinder filled with enriched air at the end of class.

PADI Night Diver – Jump in the water on Friday night with your instructor and you can complete an additional 3 dives for your PADI Night Diver certification. This option is $EDIT / diver.

Can I do more than one additional class during my training dive weekend? Yes – with some limitations. Training standards require that you can only do 3 training dives per day. So yes, you can if you do the PADI Night Diver addon on Friday night and one of the additional add on courses over Saturday and Sunday.
