Grab your dive buddy, your best pumpkin-carving ideas, and get ready to take Halloween UNDERWATER! Great American Divers is heading to Mermet Springs for one of our favorite fall traditions — Underwater Pumpkin Carving!

 Fall diving at Mermet is hard to beat! The cooler weather brings comfortable water temperatures and fantastic visibility, creating the perfect conditions for a fun weekend of diving, carving, and spending time with your fellow divers.

Once underwater, you'll put your creativity — and your buoyancy skills — to the test as you transform your pumpkin into an underwater masterpiece. Whether your creation is impressive, terrifying, hilarious, or looks like it was carved during an uncontrolled ascent... there's a prize for that!

 Junior Divers Are Welcome!
The maximum depth for the event is 40 feet, which means our Junior certified divers can join in the fun too! It's a great opportunity for our younger divers to get underwater, practice their skills, and experience just how much fun diving can be outside of training.

So start dreaming up your pumpkin design and come spend a fall weekend underwater with us. Just remember: carving a pumpkin on land is easy... doing it underwater while your pumpkin keeps trying to escape is where the real fun begins!
